Aprons, like quilts, seem to be one of those things that form a cultural
touchstone. They form important memories and take on roles far beyond their practical workaday jobs. Unfortunately, they seem
to be an area where much is published without a lot of substance. I'm still in the collecting phase of my research, but please
check back for updates.
In the meantime if you have an apron story, a favorite apron pattern, or a photo of you or a family
member (especially if they are dated) wearing an apron, please
send them along.
