Sarah S. Uthoff of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Literary Society will speak
on
Laura Ingalls Wilder. The Marengo Civil War Band will play a selection of
Civil War era music. The National Park
Service will give guided tours of the
sites over 70 acres of restored prairie. There is no admission for the
presentations,
but admission is still charged for the general exhibit. For more

Laura Ingalls Wilder papers,

about
the program.
Although I speak
at this event every year, each year I specifically develop a
new program, this year's program will take off from the report
on the trip down
to Mansfield. A writing lap desk like the one Laura used to write the diary that
became "On the Way
Home" will be used.
