Rose Wilder Lane Articles The first set of links are to articles written by Rose Wilder Lane in the magazines she originally published them in. Some of these articles were published as a series, so repeated titles below are the individual parts of the series. I've arranged them in sequential order. Most of these are PDF scans of the originals done by Ebscohost. The second set are interesting articles about her. To access the articles you will need an EBSCOhost user name and password. Most public libraries will be able to provide you with one as one of their many public services. Some libraries will have the program set up so you can just directly click on the articles within the library. If you have access to EBSCO, but experience problems with the direct links, search for Rose Wilder Lane first as author in Masterfile Premier and then as a subject in Masterfile Premier and in Academic Search Elite or for the exact titles. I had some issues with broken links, but they should now be working. If you have additional trouble, e-mail me at info@trundlebedtales.com

NOTE: Of these articles I highly recommend "Object Matrimony" which is my favorite Rose written article (based on one of her mother's stories). You'll also want to read "Who's Who and Why" which was a regular feature article based on a set of questions sent to an author in the Saturday Evening Post. A manuscript version is online through the Library of Congress. Rose's take on the routine questions is very interesting. It's in this article that she taunts me with loving most "Cedar Rapids at night and Iowa City anytime." Please also look at the about Rose articles and may I say I found Holtz's individual articles about Rose to be far better done than his book. - SSU
